Started by founder Mr. Aslam Anwar in 1974, with humble beginnings as a Small Rubber Factory named KANPUR RUBBER in the Industrial City of Kanpur (Also known as the Manchester of the East) in North of India, catering to the Shoe manufacturers in the city and other states of the country. In the Year 1978 AKOPIN RUBBER INDUSTRIES was formed with addition of new technologies in Rubber Manufacturing as well as supply of Rubber Compounds to the Indian Ordinance factory.
45 years since its inception and having established itself as a pioneer in premium quality rubber products.

AKOPIN INDUSTRIES ventured into the design, manufacture of Direct Vulcanised Military Boots in 1998 & DIRECT INJECTION PU Safety Shoe in the year 2010.

AKOPIN Industries, an ISO registered company have come a long way with a fully integrated unit working in Joint Venture collaboration with two technologically advanced leather tanneries to provide our customers safety shoes comparable with the best in the industry.

Our infrastructure empowers us with all the essential amenities that are mandatory for quality and bulk production processes. We are equipped with our own RUBBER COMPOUND MANUFACTURING UNIT for making Unit soles, DIRECT VULCANISED SOLING Safety Shoes as well have DIRECT INJECTION PU Soling Process. A team of skilled personnel coupled with advanced technology ensures that our products maintain the norms of quality and international safety standards. Undergoing a series of quality checks guarantees quality of our range. Our In-House Testing Laboratory helps keep a vigil on Quality Checks, right from procurement of raw materials in between the production processes till the final delivery of the products.

We work closely with our customers on product development and tanning of leather with the tanneries who are our strategic partners making use of quality raw materials along with are advanced technologies and latest machines. The products offered by us are manufactured in accordance with the international safety and quality standards. • New Light-Weight Rubber/PU dual density sole giving the added advantage of HRO with the lightness and comfort of PU.
• Ergonomic design of Low & Ankle shoes lessens risk of sprains and discomfort.
• Our shoes are Anti-Static, Oil-Fuel and Slip Resistant, HRO
• The leather/soft woven inner lining enables sweat absorption keeping it Odour free and cool.
• Ergonomically developed comfort In-socks used as per our customers requirements.
• We use Sympatex® & On-Tex® Membranes for Water-Proof Uppers, which is breathable and waterproof. Ensuring feet to breather even in the most Humid conditions.
• We also partner with European suppliers for Footwear components, Technical materials and textiles for our footwear & uppers to match highest quality standards Moron® Spain, HAWAI® Italia, PIDIGI, SpumaTex®.
